Oxford Piano Trio

The Oxford Piano Trio, in residence at the University of Mississippi, is composed of music faculty members Stacy Rodgers (piano), Robert Riggs (violin), and Susan Gaston (cello). Founded in 1988, the Trio has performed over fifty works from the standard classical literature, and has further enriched its repertoire by premiering new works and by searching out intriguing compositions with stylistic crossover from popular music. The Trio frequently collaborates with other instrumental faculty, performing in a variety of combinations such as piano quartets and quintets, as well as mixed ensembles with wind instruments. The Oxford Piano Trio has been heard by audiences in Germany, Canada, and throughout the Southeastern United States.
